Website refresh June 2026

Our previous website started out life initially in 2008 and had a few facelifts, especially in 2014 but in essence, remained unchanged visually, for at least 12 years. Very much like the old adage of the cobblers family having the cast off shoes because if the cobbler made shoes that were decent, they would be sold. We'd been working for so many different clients, our own website was very much a case of "we'll update it later in the year"

Following health issues in 2025, I made the decision that prevarication was no longer an option. We needed a new website and we needed it sooner rather than later. However when you provide a variety of services, you either spend time getting everything rebuilt and have a great switchover, or you try and do it in stages. We took the staged option and finally made the move in April. The site wasn't quite what we wanted but we had the features, we had a system at was massively easier to use and administer and so we bit the bullet and made it live. There were always going to be changes we needed to do, one of which was going to be the look of the new site. We tried initially to keep the look similar to the old site - same colour header and footer and a similar but updated home page but having all the bells and whistles on the new site meant we had feedback - user feedback, peers and also SEO analysis that all suggested it should be changed. So a bit like buses, you have none for 12 years and then 2 come along within 8 weeks !

We hope you like the new look. It's a lot more in the direction we want to be and by getting rid of what is called a "megamenu" in the trade, it makes it easier to access the services you've come to the site to find out about
