International Identity Checks

Identity checks overseas are harder than the UK. In the UK we have access to a number of data sources where we can confirm that this person's name appears to be linked to this provided address - financial institutions, electoral register, Companies House etc, but overseas, having access to such databases can be hard to source.

Our current "International Identity Check" is simply a standard identity check without the proof of address - effectively carrying out PEP and sanctions plus photo verification, and requiring you to confirm the proof of address through a solicitor or notary in the country concerned.

Within the next month we will be able to provide international identity checks to 22 countries, and whilst 22 is only just over 10% of the countries in the world, with much of Europe and the likes of USA, Canada and New Zealand, it does cover a large number of people. We hope that over time this will be expanded but if the people you need to verify happen to be in a large part of Europe, North America or New Zealand then we've probably got you covered. We are planning to get this active by the end of September 2026
