Usually over 2500 companies get formed every working day across the country. If you would prefer to analyse by region, rather than this postal district, you can check how many companies are formed in Preston.

Abbey Village, Adlington, Anderton and nearby places such as Anglezarke gives PR6 its immediate geographic focus, while the wider Chorley setting helps define the district's regional character. That spread across Abbey Village, Adlington and other named localities makes PR6 useful for identifying a precise part of Chorley.

Green spaces and open-landscape references around Abbey Village, Adlington, Anderton and nearby places such as Anglezarke are part of PR6's appeal, balancing local housing and services with parks, wooded areas or commons.

As of June 2026, PR6 occupies a mid-table position in the postcode-district ranking, placed 1,125th of 3,113 with 1,644 companies recorded. Here, we highlight newly formed companies and recent Companies House registrations associated with PR6 addresses. The count gives PR6 a measurable presence in the wider UK company registration landscape without implying that every business trades only within the local area.

Below are just a small sample of the companies formed (with the numeric parts of the address redacted with an X and not showing the postcode, so we are not advertising peoples full addresses online) but allows you to see where some of the companies have been formed. Our newly formed companies wizard in our Dashboard allows you to filter by a range of options free of charge to get an idea of quantities, prior to deciding to purchase. We supply the full company details lodged when they filed their company when you have decided on your filter selection and choose to purchase.
