Bethnal Green, Haggerston, Shoreditch, Cambridge Heath
this week

There have been 15 companies formed in the week from 06-10-2026 to 13-10-2026 within the E2 postcode district (Bethnal Green, Haggerston, Shoreditch, Cambridge Heath in East London). Usually over 2500 companies get formed every working day across the country. If you would prefer to analyse by region, rather than this postal district, you can check how many companies are formed in East London.

E2 is best understood through the places named in its coverage: Bethnal Green, Haggerston, Shoreditch and nearby places such as Cambridge Heath, set within the wider context of Tower Hamlets. That spread across Bethnal Green, Haggerston and other named localities makes E2 useful for identifying a precise part of Tower Hamlets.

For E2, the local setting is important: Shoreditch adds a strong east London identity, with creative industries, nightlife, converted warehouses and technology-led businesses all part of its reputation.

As of June 2026, E2 is firmly within the higher-ranking group of postcode districts, placed 133rd out of 3,113 by company count. Newly incorporated businesses using E2 addresses appear within Companies House records for this part of Tower Hamlets. Its upper-tier position makes E2 a useful district for anyone analysing company formation by location.

That local context helps make the company data easier to interpret, because E2 is tied to identifiable places rather than an abstract administrative code.

Below are just a small sample of the companies formed (with the numeric parts of the address redacted with an X and not showing the postcode, so we are not advertising peoples full addresses online) but allows you to see where some of the companies have been formed. Our newly formed companies wizard in our Dashboard allows you to filter by a range of options free of charge to get an idea of quantities, prior to deciding to purchase. We supply the full company details lodged when they filed their company when you have decided on your filter selection and choose to purchase.
