this week

There have been 21 companies formed in the week from 28-10-2026 to 04-11-2026 within the E15 postcode district (Stratford, West Ham, Maryland, Leyton, Leytonstone, Temple Mills, Hackney Wick, Bow in East London). Usually over 2500 companies get formed every working day across the country. If you would prefer to analyse by region, rather than this postal district, you can check how many companies are formed in East London.

Within Newham, E15 is identified with Stratford, West Ham, Maryland and nearby places such as Leyton, a group of places whose names give the district much of its local relevance. That spread across Stratford, West Ham and other named localities makes E15 useful for identifying a precise part of Newham.

For E15, the E postcode context matters: The E postcode links the district with east London, where docklands, markets, creative quarters, new housing and long-established communities sit close together.

With 6,534 companies recorded as of June 2026, E15 sits in the upper reaches of the district ranking at 89th out of 3,113. Here, we highlight newly formed companies and recent Companies House registrations associated with E15 addresses. That puts E15 well above the long tail of smaller postcode districts, while the local geography of Stratford, West Ham, Maryland and nearby places such as Leyton remains the main context.

That local context helps make the company data easier to interpret, because E15 is tied to identifiable places rather than an abstract administrative code.

Below are just a small sample of the companies formed (with the numeric parts of the address redacted with an X and not showing the postcode, so we are not advertising peoples full addresses online) but allows you to see where some of the companies have been formed. Our newly formed companies wizard in our Dashboard allows you to filter by a range of options free of charge to get an idea of quantities, prior to deciding to purchase. We supply the full company details lodged when they filed their company when you have decided on your filter selection and choose to purchase.
